How can I make vacuum cleaner filter?

I have a vaccum cleaner that I can’t find a filter for anywhere in town. Anyone have an idea what I could use to MAKE a filter? Any experience in making one?

Go buy a new vacuum or look for the filters online.

Making one sounds like a bust to me.

Have you tried on line, like EBay or Amazon.com? I know that I found bags for my vacuum that I could not find anywhere else. I didn’t even mind paying the 4.95 shipping fee, I was so happy to find them. If that doesn’t work, then you might want to invest in a new vacuum that is bag less and filter less (or washable and reusable)
    Hope this helps.

my son figured out how to open my filter trap thing..one of them on the side neway..and i couldnt find my filter for the life of me

i took some flat cotton batting stuff my mom had used for blankets (check fabric departments) and cut it the size i needed and double layered it..worked great

My husband makes them too. He uses the type of cloth that’s like paper and disposable. Hope you know what it is.
